American Idol season 6 ends

I guess this is old news but I had to have my say too.

American Idol season 6 has ended and we have the youngest "Idol" ever. Jordin Sparks, 17, beat Blake Lewis in the finals.

Hitting the high note

America voted and I think they voted wrong. Still can't understand why Melinda was voted out. She was the best of the lot.

In a related news, American Idol donated $1,500 to the Milwaukee County Zoo to call its only bush baby Simon after Simon Cowell. This was getting back at him for poking fun at one of the contestants. It's nice that Simon took it quite well. Read the news here.
