Amazing as it may sound, Brian Harold May CBE, lead guitarist of rock group Queen has been appointed as the Chancellor of Liverpool John Moores University.
I was not aware of it but Brian was studying Astrophysics at Imperial College, London before leaving it all for a career in music. he later on went to further his studies and received his PhD last year. His thesis was titled "A Survey of Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud".
Just shows that it's never too late to get an education.
